If it isn’t right, tell us
Afterlight is a one-person business in Christchurch. If something arrives damaged, faulty or not what you expected, email info@afterlight.co.nz and we’ll sort it out.
Shipping
NZ$9 flat rate, anywhere in New Zealand. One rate whether you order from Auckland or Bluff, and the same whether you order one box or three.
Orders are packed within one to two working days and usually arrive one to five working days after that. Rural delivery can take a day or two longer.
We only ship within New Zealand at the moment.
If something is faulty or damaged
Email us within a reasonable time of receiving it, with a photograph if you can. We’ll replace it or refund it, whichever you prefer, and we pay the return postage.
This is your right under the Consumer Guarantees Act 2003. Nothing on this page limits it.
If you change your mind
You have 30 days from delivery to change your mind. Email us first, then send it back and we’ll refund the price of the game.
Two conditions, and the second one matters more than it sounds:
- You pay the return postage, and the original NZ$9 shipping isn’t refunded.
- The reflective dots must not be fitted. The dots are permanent. Once they’re pressed onto the cards the game can’t be sold to anyone else, so we can’t take it back on a change of mind.
You’re welcome to open the box, read the rules and look at everything. Just don’t peel the dots until you’re sure you’re keeping it.
This part is our own policy, not a legal requirement. New Zealand has no cooling-off period for online purchases, so plenty of sellers offer nothing at all here.
Missing pieces
If something is missing from the box, or a card or holder is damaged, email us and we’ll post you a replacement part. You don’t need to send the whole game back.
How to start a return
Email info@afterlight.co.nz with your order number and what’s wrong. We’ll reply with an address and confirm who’s paying the postage before you send anything.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within five working days of the game arriving back with us.
Getting hold of us
Email is the only way, and it’s read by one person. Expect a reply within two working days.
